Nissan’s chief executive officer Carlos Ghosn announced a series of major innovations in automotive technology that aimed to move both Infiniti and Nissan into a leadership position in connected car service and connect segment.
While releasing the collaboration with latest technology innovators such as Google, Intel, Radio, and Pandora at the 2012 New York International Motor Show, he said the automaker is determined to set up class-leading connected services to buyers around the world.
Nowadays, customers expect lot of things and connecting wherever they wish is one such thing and that made them to invent such a cool technology.
According to Carlos, the automaker is building a series of innovative breakthroughs in communication components that will be safe and secure to use while driving the vehicle.
Talking about the new concept, the radio which was introduced 20 years ago had connection to the car from the outside world and today, customers have Bluetooth technology, navigation, and GPS system.
So lot of things can be expected in near future, which will be aided by cloud-based and wireless technologies, enhancing the safety and ride quality.
The new car wings algorithms will be based on Internet and on-board information and they’ll be soon set global EV charging network.
